Web Designing:-

 Web Designing is the skill of creating presentation of content(Usually Hypertext or Hypermedia) and graphics that are delivered to the End User through world wide web(WWW) by the use of web browser and other compatible software.

Content:-

 Web Content is the textual visual content that is encountered as part of the user experience on websites.It may include among other things:-

       Text, Images, Sounds, Videos, Animation.

Hypertext:-

 It is text displayed on computer or on other device with reference to other text that the reader can immediately access, usually by a mouse click or key press sequence.

End User:-

The End User is a concept in software engineering referring  to an abstraction of the group of person who will ultimately operate a piece of software.

Web Browser:-

It is a software for accessing the web page.Example:- Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera Mini.

Website:-

 Website is a collection of related web pages containing images, videos, or other digital asset. A website is hosted on at least one web server accessible via a network such as the internet or a private local area network such as the internet or a private local area network through an internet address known as Uniform Resource Locator(URL). All publically accessible websites collectively contitute the world wide web.

                                                        A web page is a document, typically written in plain text interspersed 

with formatting instructions of Hypertext Markup Language(HTML, XTML). A web page may incorporate elements from other website with suitable markup anchors. 

Websites are mainly of two types:-

1.     Static Website
2.     Dynamic Website.

• Static Website :-

    There are many websites running on the server, you won't be able to immediately tell if it is static, but the chances are, if the site looks basic and is for a smaller company,and simply delivers information without any bells and whistles, then it could be a static website.Static website can only really be updated by someone with the knowledge of website development.

• Dynamic Website:-  

  dynamic site can be expensive to develop initially, but the advantages are numerous at a basic level, a dynamic website can give the website owner the ability to simply update and add new content to the site. For example:- News and events could be posted to the site through a simple browser interface Dynamic features of a site are only limited by imagination. Some examples of Dynamic Website features could be:-
      Content Management System, E-Commerce System, Bulletin/Discussion boards, Internet or extant facilities, Ability for clients or users to upload document ability for administration or users to create content or add information to a site(Dynamic Publishing).

Web designing is a broad term covering many skills and terms that are used in designing and maintaing website. Web Designing includes:-

• Web Graphic design
• Interface Design
• DTP
• Designing a Website

Designing is a key part of Web Designing.The front-user have to do design for the website so that website will look attractive and sober.Graphic Designing is he main element of Web Designing. Graphic designing includes images making, Image editing,logo making that is a very essential part for every company and for its website also.In designing first of all a designer thinks about what type of website will be,website contents.First of all have a rough idea about the website.To create a website a layout should be finalized for the site.after designing layout website designing works get started. To design a website there are some helpful software that are used to design a website.   

What is the meaning of Web Services?

WEB SERVICES:-

    Web Service are consist of two basic elements that are:-

• XML
• HTTP

   Extensible Markup Language (XML):-
               XML is a markup language and it is a set of rules that use for encoding a document in the format of both human readable and machine readable.XML provides a language which can be used between different platforms and programming languages and still express complex messages and functions.XML is designed is to store and transfer data.XML is much like HTML language. In this language tags are not predefined,user have to create their own tags.XML is w3c recommended.If anyone say that XML is a replacement to HTML language then it is absolutely wrong.XML is not a replacement to the HTML language because XML is designed to transfer the data and HTML is used to format and display the data.
                           There are Schema and validation in XML language  it contains a reference to a Document Type Definition (DTD), and that its elements and attributes are declared in that DTD and follow the grammatical rules for them that the DTD specifies. 

SCHEMA:-     
          The schema of the XML language are Document Type definition and XML Schema.
Document Type Definition is the oldest schema language and XML schema is the newer language described by the w3c.

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol(HTTP):-
           Hyper Text Transfer Protocol(HTTP) is used as command or a command defines how message are formatted and transmit and in the response what web servers and browsers take actions.To understand it we can take this example that when an URl is entered in browser it sends a HTTP command to the web server to check it and direct to the requested webpage.HTTP is multi-linear sets of objects that build a network by the use of logical links that are known as hyperlinks between some text.HTTP is a protocol to transfer the hypertext.
           HTTP function as a request-response protocol.When the client submit the HTTP request message to the server, the server provides the resources in the form of HTML files.
