Web Designing:-
Web Designing is the skill of creating presentation of content(Usually Hypertext or Hypermedia) and graphics that are delivered to the End User through world wide web(WWW) by the use of web browser and other compatible software.
Content:-
Web Content is the textual visual content that is encountered as part of the user experience on websites.It may include among other things:-
Text, Images, Sounds, Videos, Animation.
Hypertext:-
It is text displayed on computer or on other device with reference to other text that the reader can immediately access, usually by a mouse click or key press sequence.
End User:-
The End User is a concept in software engineering referring to an abstraction of the group of person who will ultimately operate a piece of software.
Web Browser:-
It is a software for accessing the web page.Example:- Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera Mini.Website:-
Website is a collection of related web pages containing images, videos, or other digital asset. A website is hosted on at least one web server accessible via a network such as the internet or a private local area network such as the internet or a private local area network through an internet address known as Uniform Resource Locator(URL). All publically accessible websites collectively contitute the world wide web.
A web page is a document, typically written in plain text interspersed
with formatting instructions of Hypertext Markup Language(HTML, XTML). A web page may incorporate elements from other website with suitable markup anchors.
Websites are mainly of two types:-
- Static Website
- Dynamic Website.
Static Website :-
There are many websites running on the server, you won't be able to immediately tell if it is static, but the chances are, if the site looks basic and is for a smaller company,and simply delivers information without any bells and whistles, then it could be a static website.Static website can only really be updated by someone with the knowledge of website development.
Dynamic Website:-
dynamic site can be expensive to develop initially, but the advantages are numerous at a basic level, a dynamic website can give the website owner the ability to simply update and add new content to the site. For example:- News and events could be posted to the site through a simple browser interface Dynamic features of a site are only limited by imagination. Some examples of Dynamic Website features could be:-
Content Management System, E-Commerce System, Bulletin/Discussion boards, Internet or extant facilities, Ability for clients or users to upload document ability for administration or users to create content or add information to a site(Dynamic Publishing).
